The Canadian Dow-Key Bugs: (1949 - 1950’s)
The Dow Bent-Frame Model.
These bugs were built by Paul Dow of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
This particular example has a frame and contacts etc. which are permanently angled at 15 degrees to the right - believed by some operators to be more comfortable angle for sending morse code. Some had a polished brass base and mechanism, this one has a rather worn black painted base. Only 18 known to exist with collectors so very rare.
