The "Derek Stillwell" hand crafted morse key.
I think this is one of the nicest hand keys that I have ever used. Manufactured to the highest of standards by "Derek Stillwell, Instrument Maker, Shrewsbury, England. A magnificent grey marble base is topped with superbly engineered brass key in the Marconi design - large and sturdy.
Made from 1994 on, and Derek does still make them! (See the article in Morsum Magnificat magazine MM34, page 9).
Derek informs me that as this key is serial number 43018 then it was made in week1, September 1994 and is the eighteenth one made.
